Each is the third member of his respective club to claim a weekly award this season, and for Glasnow it is the second such honor during his career in the International League (April 25-May 1, 2016).
Billy McKinney rode a career-night to IL Player of the Week honors and helped keep the RailRiders atop the IL North Division standings.

McKinney hit .440 for the week and led the League with six extra-base hits, nine RBI, and a .920 slugging percentage.

He was the driving force behind SWB's three-game sweep at Charlotte over the weekend, highlighted by his Friday night performance in which he collected a career-best six RBI on a double, two triples, and a home run. He combined for four more hits with a homer and three runs scored Saturday and Sunday as the RailRiders improved their League-best record to 68-39. McKinney is hitting .347 overall since his late-June promotion from Double-A Trenton.

22-year-old Billy McKinney was acquired by the Yankees last July from the Cubs as part of the deal for Aroldis Chapman. He was originally selected by Oakland in the 1st round of the 2013 draft before being traded to Chicago the following season in the deal for Jeff Samardzija. McKinney is a native of Dallas, Tex.
