New York City Football Club (NYCFC) confirmed on Friday that its home match against Orlando City, originally scheduled for Oct.1 at Citi Field, has been moved to Oct. 2 at Red Bull Arena at 1:00 p.m ET.
Due to the Major League Baseball (MLB) lockout, MLB’s regular season was pushed back to Wednesday, Oct. 5. As a result, Citi Field is unavailable on both Oct. 1 and 2, and Yankee Stadium remains unavailable. Red Bull Arena is also unavailable Oct. 1.
City Members will receive communication from the Club directly about how this affects their account.
For those unable to make it, the match will be broadcast live on YES Network and the YES Network app.
