Aaron Judge misses chance to hit No. 62 at home as Yankees lose, 3-1, to Orioles

NEW YORK -- Aaron Judge’s quest to eclipse Roger Maris with a record-breaking home run in front of a Yankee Stadium crowd fell short, but the Yankees may have bigger issues to contend with after concluding their regular-season home schedule with a 3-1 loss to the Orioles on Sunday afternoon.

Rookie reliever Ron Marinaccio exited with an apparent injury in the eighth inning, potentially dealing another damaging blow to a Bombers bullpen that recently lost closer Clay Holmes to a right shoulder strain. The Yankees did not immediately announce any further details on the injury to Marinaccio, who departed after throwing a 93 mph fastball to Jorge Mateo.
