April 30, 2025 Current New York Yankees shortstop Anthony Volpe, former Yankees stars-turned-YES Network-analysts David Cone and Paul O’Neill, Basketball Hall of Famer Vince Carter, former Yankees star pitcher Dwight Gooden and fellow former Yankees All-Star hurler Dellin Betances will be the featured guests in the second season of The Story of My Number Presented by New York Lottery, premiering Wednesday, May 14, on the YES Network within The Gotham Sports App.

Gracie Cashman returns as host of the series, whose second season premieres May 14 with an episode featuring Volpe, the Yankees fan favorite who won a Gold Glove Award in 2023, his rookie season, for his stellar play at shortstop. The Story of My Number Presented by New York Lottery explores the captivating world of sports and the pivotal numbers that define the careers of star athletes.

The Story of My Number Presented by New York Lottery and other YES App programming is accessible throughout YES’ regional coverage territory (New York State, Connecticut, northeastern Pennsylvania and north and central New Jersey) via video providers as well as direct subscription.

The series delves into the profound significance of specific numbers in the lives of sports stars through interviews and storytelling. From record-breaking scores to milestone achievements, athletes share the stories behind the numbers synonymous with their legacies.

The Story of My Number Presented by New York Lottery goes beyond statistics, providing personal narratives that deepen the understanding of challenges, triumphs and measuring sticks of greatness. The series brings these numeric milestones to life with exclusive interviews, commentary and vivid visuals.

In addition to the interview questions, Cashman and the guests always play a comedic round of trivia where the guest has to answer questions about their own life, and each episode has an “out of the chair” segment where Cashman and the guest do things like learning a dance routine, creating a custom handshake or competing in a humorous game of HORSE.

The linear YES Network will air a marathon featuring the six Season One episodes of The Story of My Number Presented By New York Lottery on Wednesday, April 30 from 2 to 5 p.m. ET. These six episodes feature current New York Yankees manager and former Yankees post-season hero Aaron Boone and fellow Yankees icons Don Mattingly, Andy Pettitte, CC Sabathia, Tino Martinez and Nick Swisher. YES will also air various Season One episodes each day leading up to the May 14 Season Two premiere, and the six Season One episodes are also available on demand on YES within The Gotham Sports App.

Gracie Cashman is a dynamic presence in film and media, recently starring in Christmas Cowboy and the highly anticipated California Skate alongside Brooke Shields and Bridget Moynahan. With several exciting projects on the horizon, including hosting an Inside the Actors' Studio panel at the 10th Anniversary of the North Fork TV Festival this June, Gracie continues to establish herself as a rising star in entertainment.

Prior to his sports career, John was a U.S. Navy flight officer, with 40 missions over Iraq. He is a graduate of MIT and the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Jamie Hector is an NY-based actor, first recognized for his portrayal of Marlo Stanfield on HBO’s critically acclaimed series “The Wire.” Hector has a long list of standout television credits which include playing Sean Suiter in “We Own This City,” Detective Jerry Edgar on Amazon’s series “Bosch” and Devon Finch on “Queen of the South.” Jamie is a published author, director and a founding partner at Ovrdo Media Company.
