New York Yankees Holiday Food Drive gets underway

Fans may donate online now through Tuesday, Dec. 6 at noon ET and in-person at Yankee Stadium Gate 2 on Wednesday, Dec. 7

The Yankees’ 28th Holiday Food Drive, presented in conjunction with C-Town and Bravo supermarkets and Krasdale Foods, is underway online now through Tuesday, Dec. 6 at noon ET at www.yankees.com/fooddrive.

For every $30 donated online to the Virtual Holiday Food Drive, fans will receive an offer code valid for two complimentary tickets in designated seating areas to select 2023 Yankees regular season home games. Additionally, for every $30 donated, fans will also receive an entry to win a Yankees prize basket that includes Legends Suite tickets, a Gerrit Cole signed baseball and a Cole jersey.

The in-person food drive will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 7, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Gate 2 at Yankee Stadium. Any fan who brings at least 30 pounds of non-perishable food will receive a ticket voucher as described above.

Fans driving to the Stadium may pull up to Gate 2 (on Jerome Ave. by E. 164th Street) to drop off their donation. Rice and bottled water will not be accepted.

The Yankees, in conjunction with the Bronx Clergy, will distribute all food collected to families in need throughout the Bronx.

To help kick off the Food Drive, the Yankees have already received a committed donation of approximately 60,000 pounds of food from Krasdale Foods.
