1. Do I have to pay extra to watch the Yankees on Prime?

Prime members in New York state, Connecticut, north and central New Jersey, and northeast Pennsylvania can watch select New York Yankees games live on Prime Video at no additional cost. Non-Prime members can start a 30-day free trial of Prime. For more information visit Prime Video.

2. Which New York Yankees games can I watch?

3. How can I catch up on games I have missed?

The 20 Yankees broadcast games will be available on demand up to 15 minutes after the match has ended. Replays for games blacked out due to national TV broadcasts are not available on Prime Video.

5. How will fans find Yankees games on Prime?

Yankees games on Prime Video are available to Prime Members in the Yankees’ home-team footprint (New York state, Connecticut, north and central New Jersey, and northeast Pennsylvania) on the web at amazon.com/yankees, and are displayed in the Prime Video app. Prime members will be able to discover and watch Yankees games via the Prime Video home page, the ‘Your Sports’ row, and on the Sports tab. In addition, customers can search for the Yankees using the search tool. Fire TV users will see the Yankees games appear in their Live tab.

6. If I am a Prime Video customer whose subscription is based in the New York area, can I watch the games if I happen to be outside the New York area?

No, your device needs to be located within the Yankees’ television territory: New York State, Connecticut, north and central New Jersey and northeastern Pennsylvania.

7. Will Prime Video’s live games be available to MLB.TV subscribers living outside the Yankees’ television territory?

Yes, Prime Video’s live games will be available to MLB.TV subscribers living outside the Yankees’ television territory.

8. Will there be DVR functionality?

Pause, rewind and fast-forward functions will be available on most devices for the Yankees games.

9. If I tune into the game in the third inning, for example, but want to go back and watch the game from the start, can I do that while the live telecast is occurring?

Yes, you can rewind the game and watch from the beginning.

10. Will Prime Video air encore presentations for each Prime game?

Games will be available for replay on Prime Video approximately 20 minutes following their conclusion. Yes, customers can also access encore presentations.

11. Are regional blackouts based on my location or my billing address?

Blackouts are based on your physical location when watching the game.

12. Can I watch games while traveling?

Prime Video members traveling outside of New York state, Connecticut, north and central New Jersey, and northeast Pennsylvania will not be able to access the Yankees games on Prime Video.

13. My device says “enable location services for game availability"

You will need to enable location services on your device in order to watch the New York Yankees Games. Additionally, you may need to deactivate any VPN or proxy servers.

14. Which devices can I watch the New York Yankees on?

Amazon’s X-Ray technology powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS), allows viewers access to live in-game stats, team and player details, and real-time play-by-play information for fans streaming on Android, iOS mobile, and Fire TV. The games will be streamed in 1080p. DVR functionality (pause, rewind, fast-forward) will be available on most devices.
