Yankees infielder DJ LeMahieu wins Silver Slugger Award at second base

Yankees infielder DJ LeMahieu was named the American League's Silver Slugger recipient at second base after a spectacular first season in pinstripes.

LeMahieu batted .327/.375/.518 with a career-high 26 home runs and 102 RBI, making himself a fixture at the top of the Bombers' lineup. The 31-year-old carried that stellar form into the postseason where he hit .325/.386/.625 with three homers.
