Yankees announce three exhibition games prior to season

Yankee Stadium will play host to two exhibition games prior to the start of the regular season.

After the Yankees released their 2020 regular-season schedule Monday, the club announced Tuesday it will play three exhibition games ahead of the start of the season.

The Yankees will face the Mets on July 18 at Citi Field before hosting their crosstown rivals the next night in the Bronx. New York will then finish up its exhibition schedule with a home matchup against the Phillies on July 20, three days before the Bombers' season begins in Washington DC against the Nationals.

All three games will be televised on the YES Network.
