After clinching the top seed in the Eastern Conference with 64 points, City will enjoy a first-round bye for the opening week of playoff action.
NYCFC's first match of the playoffs will take place on October 23 at 7:00 PM in the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the winner of Toronto FC and D.C. United, who will battle in a first-round match-up on October 19.
Should NYCFC advance past the semis, the following match will take place on October 30 for the Conference Finals.
