
BROOKLYN (July 3, 2025) – The Brooklyn Nets have signed guard Egor Dëmin, the eighth overall pick in the first round of the 2025 NBA Draft, Ben Saraf, the 26th selection, and Danny Wolf, the 27th pick, to multi-year contracts. Per team policy, terms of the deals were not released.
Dëmin (6’8”, 199) spent one year (2024-25) at Brigham Young University, where he started in each of his 33 appearances and averaged 10.6 points on 41.2 percent shooting from the floor, 3.9 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.2 steals in 27.5 minutes per game. He earned All-Big 12 Honorable Mention and Big 12 All-Freshman Team accolades during his lone season with the Cougars. The Moscow, Russia, native helped lead BYU to a Sweet 16 appearance in the 2025 NCAA Tournament and set a new program freshman record for total assists (180). Dëmin spent the 2023-24 season with Real Madrid’s second team, where he saw action in 21 games and averaged 13.0 points on 57.1 percent shooting from the field, 5.1 rebounds and 4.3 assists.
Saraf (6’6”, 212) played the 2024-25 season with Ratiopharm Ulm in Germany’s Basketball Bundesliga (BBL), recording averages of 11.5 points on 44.6 percent shooting from the field, 3.0 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.0 steals in 23.0 minutes per game in 43 appearances (29 starts). In 60 games (38 starts) across BBL, EuroCup and German Cup play, the Israeli native recorded averages of 12.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.1 steals in 23.4 minutes per contest while shooting 44.4 percent from the floor. The 19-year-old spent the 2023-24 season with Elitzur Kiryat Ata in the Israeli Basketball Premier League, appearing in 34 games (eight starts) and averaging 10.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.1 steals in 22.6 minutes per contest. Saraf represented Israel at FIBA U18 EuroBasket 2024, where he averaged a tournament-high 28.1 points and earned the competition’s MVP honor.
Wolf (6’11”, 252) joins the Nets after spending the 2024-25 season at the University of Michigan, where he played in and started 37 games and averaged 13.2 points on 49.7 percent shooting from the field, 9.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.4 blocks in 30.5 minutes per contest. The 21-year-old helped guide the Wolverines to a Big Ten Tournament title while earning Associated Press All-Big Ten First Team honors. Wolf previously played two seasons (2022-24) at Yale University, where he saw action in 53 games (31 starts), posting averages of 9.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.0 blocks in 21.5 minutes per game. The Glencoe, Ill., native achieved an All-Ivy League First Team unanimous selection and the Ivy League Tournament Most Outstanding Player award as a sophomore. Wolf also represented Israel at the FIBA U20 European Championship in 2023 and helped lead the team to a silver medal.
