Liberty fall to Aces in matinee

On Thursday, the New York Liberty (9-15) fell to the Las Vegas Aces (17-7), 108-74, in the third and final game of their 2022 season series.

At Barclays Center, the Liberty finished on 34.9% (22-63) shooting from the field, 30.8% (8-26) from three, and 88% (22-25) at the free throw line.

After scoring the Liberty’s first seven points of the game, *Natasha Howard *totaled a team-high 19 points on 66.7% (8-12) shooting from the field and a game-high nine rebounds.

*Michaela Onyenwere *finished with a season-high 14 points on 40% (4-10) shooting from the floor and four rebounds – her first double-digit scoring game of the season.

*Marine Johannès *finished with 10 points on 50% (3-6) from the field and four assists.
