BSE Global, the company that manages and operates Barclays Center and the Brooklyn Nets, is partnering with global restaurant company Major Food Group (MFG) to reimagine the most premium club inside of the premier sports and entertainment venue. The new courtside lounge, Crown Club, will be located just steps from the basketball court and easily accessible from the best seats in the house.

The team behind Crown Club also includes renowned interior designer Ken Fulk, who has collaborated with MFG on seven restaurants, including Sadelle’s and the Las Vegas and Miami outposts of Carbone. Levy, the arena’s food and beverage partner, will coordinate operations closely with MFG as part of the arrangement.

The name Crown Club is a nod to the rich history of Brooklyn, the county of Kings. In celebrating the legacies of the Brooklyn greats, the Nets have paid homage to artists like Biggie Smalls and Jean-Michel Basquiat, who have invoked the crown. While becoming a true destination for memorable and luxurious dining experiences at each Nets game, Crown Club will still offer premium ticket holders the same flexibility and variety as a traditional courtside club. The 7,700-square-foot area will capture that of a grand residence complete with a Foyer, Lounge, Pantry, Salon and a private Dining Room reserved as the most exclusive space in Crown Club. The lush decor will feature velvet furnishings, antique mirrors, elegant parquet floors and a richly residential array of textures and fabrics, with a signature Ken Fulk bar anchoring the Lounge.

Both the environment and culinary program are designed to rotate between MFG’s iconic restaurants and other celebrated concepts from some of New York City’s most beloved eateries. Befitting MFG’s pedigree, the servers, glassware and theatrics will all be meticulously considered to create an unforgettable experience. Crown Club will provide à la carte dining, a unique offering experience rarely found at courtside clubs—and guests can expect the best food in town.

“New York has historically set the bar for premier culinary experiences and we see Crown Club as our opportunity to bring the same standard to sports and entertainment events,” said John Abbamondi, CEO of BSE Global. “This new space will not only elevate the game day experience for guests at Barclays Center, but we believe it will ultimately redefine how our industry has traditionally thought about courtside clubs as a whole.”

“With New York City roaring back to life and the Nets poised to be more thrilling than ever, Crown Club is perfectly paired to celebrate this exciting time,” says MFG co-owner Jeff Zalaznick. “It’s been an honor to make this dream a reality with the brilliant Ken Fulk and our visionary partners BSE Global—and we are excited to be a part of this winning combination.”

“Without qualification, this is going to be one of the most beautiful spaces in the city,” Fulk said. “The fact that it’s inside an arena adds to the mysterious sense of being invited to a private grand residence for an unforgettable evening.”

Scheduled to be completed for the 2021-22 NBA season, Crown Club will have opportunities for corporate partner integration. For more information, please visit www.brooklynnets.com/crownclub.
