Traffic Operations Supervisor

The YES Network, the #1 Regional Sports Network in the country, seeks a Traffic Operations Supervisor to join its Traffic team, based in NYC. If you enjoy working in energetic, dynamic and fast-paced environments, this is your opportunity to join the YES Network team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise logging activities as it relates to the program schedule.
  • Work closely with the Programming Department to coordinate and maintain the program schedule.
  • Manage and generate program formats in WideOrbit Traffic System.
  • Enter program schedule and copy into the WideOrbit Traffic System.
  • Coordinate program and format changes with Production and Master Control.
  • Backup and partner with the Director of Traffic.
  • REQUIREMENTS:

  • 6 to 8 years' experience working in a Traffic Department.
  • Working knowledge of Traffic Operations as it relates to Program Scheduling and formatting.
  • Proficiency in and working knowledge of WideOrbit Traffic System.
  • Knowledge of Broadcast Operations and how it relates to other departments.
  • Ability to make decisions that affect related departments (i.e., Sales, Programming, Production, Operations, Production).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, fulfilling priorities and meeting deadlines.
