Marketing Manager, Digital Products

The YES Network, the #1 Regional Sports Network in the country and home of the NY Yankees, Brooklyn Nets and NY Liberty seeks a strategic, creative, industrious, innovative and results-oriented digital marketing all-star to join the internal YES Agency in NYC.

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing and Creative, this critically important position helps to strategically plan, organize and execute all marketing for the digital businesses, including customer acquisition, performance and lifecycle marketing. It is responsible for executing all consumer-facing digital marketing initiatives while serving as a liaison with key internal and external stakeholders (including ad sales, creative services, production, strategy, PR), professional sports team partners, corporate marketing and third-party vendors. The ideal candidate will also be a data whiz with significant hands-on experience with the latest martech platforms, tools and trends.

This position will be an instrumental force in driving the following:

Growth Marketing:

  • Manage all customer acquisition efforts against core digital offerings including product launches as well as new advanced features and services to existing customers
  • Plan, execute and optimize all on-and off-channel media plans to attract new customers across all platforms that are relentlessly optimized in real-time
  • Drive performance marketing efforts from planning, testing, real time optimization that meet or exceed target KPIs that deliver positive results to the bottom line

Lifecycle Marketing:

  • Deepen fan consumption and engagement through developing arresting initiatives and content for social media, email, mobile, influencer and other digital marketing initiatives
  • Plan and manage strategic placement of on-air promotion and drop-ins
  • Recommend and deliver against measurable growth, consumption and engagement KPIs
  • Working with external vendor act as key liaison for customer service

Campaign Management/Data and Analytics

  • Conceptualize and implement annual marketing and media plan(s) for the YES App, social and other digital products/platforms to drive acquisition, viewership, engagement and retention that drive significant lifetime customer value and satisfaction
  • Develop and implement all aspects of CRM from Day 1 through win-back
  • Oversee paid performance campaigns with external agencies
  • Ensure all marketing messaging and materials are on-brand, premium and consistent
  • Conduct audience and popular culture trend research and competitive monitoring
  • Provide real-time reporting and analysis with recommendations for optimizing all efforts


  • 5-7 years previous digital marketing experience at an agency or brand with successful DTC digital offering
  • BS/BA in computer science, statistics, engineering or related quantitative field (graduate degree optional)
  • Deep understanding of data and analytics and proficiency with the latest tools and trends to develop KPIs, target and measure effective results
  • Thorough understanding of digital subscription media landscape with working knowledge of sports, including MLB and the NBA/WNBA
  • Expert Knowledge of Adobe, Google Analytics, MMP and CRM and other “Martech” platforms such as Kochava, Braze, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc., is critical
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Superb oral, written and interpersonal communication skills are required. The candidate must be able to lead conversations and provide excellent, professional email communication with local team partners and business/community organizations
  • Must be creative and have ability to communicate creative ideas to others. The ability to multitask and work effectively with changing priorities and deadlines is essential
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred
