2026 New York Yankees regular season schedule released

On Tuesday afternoon Major League Baseball released the 2026 regular season schedule. Check out some Yankees schedule notes and highlights below, and the full Yankees’ 2026 schedule.

Yankees 2026 schedule notes:

  • The Yankees will play 52 total division games, 62 total non-divisional Intraleague games and 48 total Interleague games.
  • Will open the season on the road on 3/25 at San Francisco… their first road trip will include three-game series at San Francisco (3/25, 3/27-28) and at Seattle (3/30-4/1).
  • Their first homestand will feature three-game sets vs. Miami (4/3-5) and the Athletics (4/7-9).
  • The Yankees’ longest homestands of the season will be two nine-game homestands in August…will play nine games over 11 days from 8/3-13 (three games vs. St. Louis, three games vs. Atlanta and three games vs. Seattle) and nine games over 10 days from 8/21-30 (three games vs. Toronto, three games vs. Houston and three games vs. Boston).
  • The Yankees’ longest road trip will be 10 games from 7/24-8/2 (three games at Philadelphia, four games at Chicago-AL and three games at Chicago-NL).
  • Will face Boston for the first time in a three-game series at Fenway Park from 4/21-23…will play the Red Sox at Yankee Stadium from 6/5-7 and 8/28-30…will also face the Red Sox at Fenway Park from 6/25-28.
  • Will play six Subway Series games against the Mets (three games from 5/15-17 at Citi Field and three games from 9/11-13 at Yankee Stadium).
  • Will open the second half of the season with a three-game series vs. Los Angeles-NL at Yankee Stadium (7/17-19).
  • Will play at home on Jackie Robinson Day (4/15 vs. Los Angeles-AL), Lou Gehrig Day (6/2 vs. Cleveland), Father’s Day (6/21 vs. Cincinnati) and Independence Day (7/4 vs. Minnesota).
  • Will play on the road on Mother’s Day (5/10 at Milwaukee), Memorial Day (5/25 at Kansas City) and Roberto Clemente Day (9/15 at Minnesota).
  • Are off on Labor Day (9/7).
  • Will close out the regular season with a six-game homestand vs. Tampa Bay (three games from 9/22-24) and Baltimore (three games from 9/25-27).
