TWIF Picks: NFL Week 7

Each week, we will post the TWIF panel’s picks for every game on the NFL slate here on YESNetwork.com, so you can see how your thoughts compare to those of Ryan Ruocco, Howard Cross, Ross Tucker, and Gary Myers. In addition, we’ll also be keeping a tally of how Ryan and the gang do all season, so come January you’ll see who has bragging rights as the big winner among the panel.
You can keep track of your record and see if you end up beating the experts...and of course, don't forget to watch This Week in Football every Tuesday during the NFL season on YES!
Week 6 in the NFL saw a handful of upsets, and it also saw uniformity bring the TWIF panel back down to earth after a stellar week; the gang went just 4-3 on their unanimous picks, as late rallies by Tennessee, Detroit, and Buffalo sunk a trio of picks, and no one reached double digits this week.
In the end, Gary Myers’ salient choices of underdogs Seattle and Washington led him to victory, as his 9-5 record gave him the weekly win and pushed him into sole possession of the season lead, one game ahead of Ryan Ruocco.
For Week 7, we have a 2012 first: a definite answer on who will be on top at week’s end. The panel is unanimous on 11 of 13 games this week, with Gary Myers the lone dissenter on the other two – so, come supper time on Sunday, we’ll know whether Gary’s choices of Tennessee over Buffalo and Cleveland over Indianapolis will give him the weekly win (and a three-game cushion on the season) or drop him down to second place overall.
Let’s see who the gang has gone with this week, but first, a look at the latest standings…
