Jets, WR White agree to four-year deal
The New York Jets have signed their seventh-round draft pick, wide receiver Jordan White, to a four-year contract.
White caught 140 passes for 1,911 yards in his final year at Western Michigan, but is expected to be sidelined until at least the start of training camp due to a broken fifth metatarsal in his left foot.
He suffered the injury during the Jets’ first session of organized team activities on May 21, and had surgery done by team physician Dr. Ken Montgomery to repair the break two days later. White has been with the team during minicamp with his foot in a walking boot.
With the signing of White, the Jets now have all eight of their 2012 draftees under contract.
